ADULT CHRISTIAN EDUCATION (Confirmation/Reception) "What it means to be an Episcopalian". These classes will begin Wednesday, September 8, 6:00-7:30 PM in the Parish Hall. If you wish to be Confirmed or Received by Bishop Lawrence when he visits St. Stephen's on Sunday, December 12th, you are encouraged to attend.

Daughters of the King (DOK) meet the third Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM in the Choir Room.

ECM LOWE'S FOOD CARD FUND RAISING PROJECT: Parishioners desiring Lowe's Food Cards may purchase them on the 1st and 3rd Sundays during Coffee Hour after both Sunday services. Please make your check(s) payable to St. Stephen's Episcopal Church and note "Lowes Food Card" in the memo section.

HORRY COUNTY RESIDENTS 65 YEARS OR OLDER may apply for a complimentary pass for free admission to school sporting events, comcerts, musicals, plays and art shows for the upcoming year. The card does not expire and you do not need to re-apply each year. To apply visit www.horrycountyschools.net, click on "About Us" the "Top 65" or call 448-6776.

ECW FRUITFULL FELLOWSHIP meets the second Monday of every month at 6:00 PM in the Parish Hall. Join us and discuss ways to be a productive, fruitful person.

ECW JOYFULL FELLOWSHIP meets the third Thursday of every month at 12 noon in the Parish Hall. Bring a bag lunch and join us.

ECW GENERAL MEETING will be held September 16th at 5:00PM. We will meet in the Sanctuary for a program presented by Sue Harrison. Cherry Grove Deli will provide a wonderful dinner followed by our business meeting. Dinner Tickets ($10/person) will be sold by the ECW Board Members today after the services and on Sunday September 5th and 12th.

ST. STEPHEN'S GOLF/T-SHIRTS: To place an order for these shirts, we must have a minimum order of two (2) dozen for the golf shirts and two (2) dozen for the T-Shirts. The cost for these shirts is $15.00 each for sizes S thru L, and $17.00 for XL and above. They must be paid for at the time you place an order. Please call the church office (249-1169) if you would like to pruchase a shirt or shirts.

KIDS HOPE USA (KHUSA: Please be here for the ONE service September 19 as we officially kick-off KIDS HOPE USA, the program phase of our Loris Vision. The service will be at 10:00 AM with a "potluck" to follow in the Parish Hall. Please plan on bringing your favorite dish! Father Merchant will commission our KHUSA volunteers and the congregation for their support. We will also be asking the staff at Loris Elementary School to join us!

North Strand Helping Hand (NSHH) is still in need of non-perishable items...dried milk (individual packets), spaghetti noodles, canned spaghetti sauce, rice, ravioli, baby diapers, canned meat, jelly, canned fruit, pork 'n beans, toilet paper, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, deodorant.You may drop off your items here at St. Stephen's any day during the week.

RUMMAGE SALE The Rummage Sale is looking for help to set up the tents on Saturday, September 25th starting at 8AM. If you are able to help, please call Jack Lawson at 843-280-4664. The set up usually takes around three hours. All gentlemen and ladies are welcomed to help.
The Rummage Sale building setup will start Monday September 27th at 9AM. Again, all are welcomed and anyone can help.
